  1. Bud,
So sad, so young, I can't even think of this happening to families. I have lost two brothers 17 & 19 yrs old. My heart, my stomach is sick. I could never comprehend the loss of one or more of my kids or grandkids. We are here for support no words can ever repair the losses. Stay close to family and friends. Jon Varley #111

  2. I am still so shocked and sad. I know there are no words to console, nothing to be done to ease the pain. Nothing I can think of to do to help. I just know that the Feldkamp family is strong and their love, faith and family bond is a unique one. They have a huge support system in family and friends. We are all here for you and keeping you all close in our hearts through this unbelievable time. We love you all and mourn your losses.

  3. Hi Bud and Pam,
I just want you to know how blessed WE all as friends of your family to have been able to share special times with your family. I will be posting some of the pictures that we have had over the years of Amy and and Brent, so that we can share visually some of the memories, and comment on them as well. Just some captions into the times we shared with them. We will never forget them, and thier families! Amy Tucker Berliner

  4. I just wanted to share a memory of Amy that always makes me smile. I was working as a file clerk at the San Bernardino office for the last summer before I started the hygiene program at LLU. Amy was in the office going through charts looking for a prospective boards patient. She and I were chatting and she was giving me advice on making it through the program. I can still hear her telling me when giving an injection to always walk the needle along the bone. I remembered her telling me that that first day in anesthesia class, and I still hear her tell me that every time I give an IA.
Jonathan and I are heartbroken for the loss of such beautiful, loving family members and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  5. I am lost for words. I feel a deep pain. Family means so much. Having one changes your life and adds direction for the future. We cannot measure life by losses but by how we live them. Bud and Pam your family and friends will be there for you. God Bless to All and I feel very thankful to have met you all. By looking at Feldkamp family I have learned to be a better father and husband to my Family.

  6. It is such a tragedy to lose so many wonderful people and at such a young age. They will all be missed. The surviving family members are in our thoughts and prayers. Hold on to the wonderful memories that you have of each of your children/grandchildren/sisters/aunts/uncles/brothers and friends. Talk about them and remember the good times. We will be praying for all of you.
    Much love,

  7. Dear Feldkamp Family,
It is an honor to be among those who share a few memories of such special individuals. You know we hold you close in our hearts and are here to support you in any way we can. I just want to take a moment to say that AirBud was a fine gentleman and amazing pilot. I will miss his gentle humor. His skill as a pilot put me at ease on the flights we shared, easing my jitters with small plane flights. He once served his country and now I am certain that he is serving the Lord with a different set of wings. God Bless all of you. Toni

I am so sorry for your loss. It just doesn't seem fair, by any means, that something so tragic could happen to such a great family. I am sure that every day is tough for you. I know that the National will be tough for us. As they were all a part of it. But, we at Glen Helen will step it up and help in every way possible.

  9. As a Glen Helen MX customer/rider and a pilot, I just want to say how sorry I am for this tragedy. I have lost friends to aviation accidents in the past and I know there is just no way of understanding how and why mother nature and aviation can be so unforgiving when you lose loved ones like this. My deepest condolences.
    I remain,

  10. Pam, Bud, Maggie, Adrian, Buddy, Jessica, Luke, Cash, Bruce and Alex,

In Mike and Vanessa's bedroom there is an emergency stash to be envied. Food, water, wind up flashlight, blankets. All secured in zip-lock baggies, in case of disaster. They took all the correct safety measures. They were prepared for "the worst". This horrific accident is another example of how little control we really have in life.

The only thing I can think of that we can control is our reaction to this ordeal. You are great examples of how to take what life hands to you, the wonderful and the horrid, and live with grace, and foster relationships. "There's always room for one more, and maybe five". You've never let situations win. Thank you for your example.

The only constant, unchanging force is God Himself and I hear He's big enough to take on all our questions.... in time. I pray for patience.

    Under the Mercy
    Love you guys,
    Rhonda Nelson

  12. This is such a heart breaking tragedy. I only knew Erin and Amy personally, but know that all of the families were so loved. I was lucky to have trained with Erin in residency. He was an inspiration to me as a doctor, friend, spouse, parent and a person...and I'm not just saying that because he is gone. A couple of months before the accident I remember saying to one of our friends, "Everything just works out for Erin. If it were anybody else, I would say it wasn't fair, but he is such a wonderful person that he totally deserves it!!"
If there is anything that is comforting about this tragedy, it is that I know each of the victims lived well and was so deeply loved. It is a reminder to me to do the same...to love my friends and family with the same generosity and goodness that Erin and Amy did.
My sincerest sympathy goes to each of their family members who has lost so much in this tragedy...as have we all.
